Webhiway Communications offers support for Hybrid Networks Inc.

Webhiway Communications has the largest known inventory of Hybrid Networks wireless cable equipment worldwide. After purchasing the remaining assets available from Hybrid's demise, Webhiway has also acquired all known unused inventory from other sources. Since the bankruptcies of Hybrid Networks and Iowave, Webhiway Communications (www.webhiway.com) has been supporting the equipment manufacturer's existing customers worldwide. Hybrid Networks Filed for bankruptcy in in March of 2002, Hybrid's assets were then acquired by Iowave in June of 2002, Iowave went out of business shortly thereafter. The Hybrid system is primarily used on an MMDS (wireless cable) system using licensed frequencies, it is a cable solution similar to DOCSIS but engineered to run on a wireless network. The hybrid system can deliver high speed internet on a traditional cable network or wireless using UHF or Microwave frequencies. Webhiway is in the process of building transceivers for use in the UHF and microwave spectrum creating unlicensed and licensed solutions, compatible with both DOCSIS and Hybrid based Systems.
